Boat House
Horseshoe Bay’s Boat House will be like no other. Can you imagine walking down the pier and into this soaring and elegant structure to show your friends the handsome Chris-Craft powerboat that dwells there, maybe take them for a spin around the harbour? The Boat House includes a wooddeckedgathering hall that will become the perfect on-water venue for a wine-tasting, pilates workshop or sailing skills demo. Upstairs, there will be a resident’s lounge, a come-andgo casual perch where you can enjoy watching the passing variety of harbour vessels or chat with your neighbours.
Boat House
Bold parabolic arches in wood topped by an open truss and skylight ensures this will be a dramatic architectural gem on Horseshoe Bay’s waterfront.
Boat House Construction
Inside there is a multi-purpose hall with panoramic harbour views, then down a flexible accordion gangway stair to the floating dock that forms the permanent home of the Chris-Craft Corsair 25. On the exterior, a post and beam wooden structure will announce Horseshoe Bay’s dedication to craft. Set between the expressed columns and beams will be glass panels in both transparent and translucent versions, ensuring that the boat house will glow like a lantern by night, becoming a new landmark for the entire harbour.
Corsair 25
No boathouse is complete without a resident boat. Our boathouse will be home to a top-end powerboat that is as much a joy to look at as it is to ride in. The Corsair 25 by Chris-Craft defines the contemporary sport-boat, with impressive power, an impeccably-detailed interior and a smooth ride. The Corsair 25 will be available for pleasure cruise bookings by our residents, either with or without a pilot.
Chris-Craft Heritage
Ever since it was founded nearly a century ago, Chris-Craft has defined the high end of the sport of power-boating. In the 1920s and 30s Chris-Craft’s mahogany construction and ample power attracted purchasers like Henry Ford and William Randolph Hearst. In the 1950s and 60s Chris-Craft’s latest models were crucial to fun in the sun for such owners as Katherine Hepburn, Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley. Today, design finesse and ease of operation defines the brand to a new generation.
